The result of the method of intentionally illustrating or creating pieces which significantly symbolizes something as a way of influencing, affecting human senses, feelings and intelligence is called an “art”. In addition, art includes diversified levels of activity, creation and medium of expressions such as musical aspect, literatures, films, photograph expression, sculpting and painting. To put things simple, art is commonly thought of and considered as a medium of expression by a certain artist or a group of artists.

So, basically an artist is an individual involved in a single or multiple medium of expression related with arts, may it be of creation or illustration, practice and demonstration of arts.

For art lovers and even so for the curious, it is always exciting and enjoyable to talk about art and artists. Although such topic is said by many to interest only the persons belonging to the upper class bracket in terms of socio economic strata. Such statement might be partially or predominantly largely true but still remains disputably arguable as there are also individuals from average to low class socio-economic strata who passionately love about art and artists. However, such former population is observably little in comparison to the upper class population of art lovers.

Regardless of the population of art lovers from all socio economic strata, arts in its various forms are also well loved by many and has become a part of everyday lives of many persons whether art lovers or not, such as music. It doesn’t need or require an individual to be musically train or musically incline to love a particular kind of music. Various genres of art forms appeals to different personalities not specific to a particular socio economic level of a certain individual. It is therefore better to say that when talking public’s inclination or affection about art and artists is personality based not social or economic based.

Although there are various forms of art, it is a fact that the most patronized form of art is music and acting. Note that in acting, there is television and film as well as stage such as stage plays. However, in acting genre it is the film and television which is largely patronized or loved and appreciated by many both local and global such as the worldwide famous films from the place of Hollywood in the U.S. Television acting is also globally popular and appreciated both domestic and international, although, it does not draw a vast crowd of the particular art as television acting are limitedly shown only mostly by means of television programs alone, where such kind of programs varies in every nation as there are local TV artists in almost every nation.

The art of music is equally internationally famous especially music artists from western countries, although, there are also famous musical artists from non-western countries. In addition, each country has its own set of local music artists popular to such certain nation.

The great appreciation about art and artists of different art genre is said to have influences on some personalities as well as dreams and aspirations of art fans. One example of such is a young kid who dreams to become a prima ballerina someday, wherein as young as they are art unconsciously shapes their determination and aspiration. Enrolling in a ballet class at a young age is one observable fact of art influence in various ages. For adults who find it is late to enroll in a ballet class, patronization of ballet stage plays is one form of art appreciation.

Simple drawings made by kids are considered an art as well. Arts therefore, are part of everybody’s life and even made a significant mark in some lives. It is the effect of art on each person that makes talking about art and artists interesting.
